It is pretty much springtime.

That usually means gearing up for spring cleansing and preparing for home and back garden enhancements.

The Yakima Valley College Art Department is cleansing out its cabinets and you can enjoy the benefits. The huge home and backyard garden present is this weekend. And if you have an aged prom gown in your closet, we know just the spot to consider it.

Residence & Yard Present

The 2023 Central Washington Home & Backyard garden Show’s concept is “Design Delights: A Journey of Intention and This means.” It usually takes area this weekend at the Yakima Valley SunDome, 1301 S. Fair Ave.

The semi-annual clay sale will be in the lobby of the Palmer Martin Hall, Building 20, on the corner of Nob Hill Boulevard and 16th Avenue.

The clay sale will feature bowls, mugs, pitchers, planters and additional developed by YVC college students and faculty more than the past handful of quarters.

Several parts will be priced beneath $10 and make great items. Payments approved include income, check out and credit history/debit card.

Parking is free in the visitor parking space, Good deal C, off 16th Avenue, or in the pupil parking region, Whole lot K, off South 15th and Prasch avenues.

Involving now and March 24, be a part of the Valley Shopping mall and Macy’s for Project Prom and donate new or gently used formalwear for students in require.
