25-foot flames burn north Spokane Home Depot’s home and garden aisle

Firefighters battled 25-foot flames Thursday night within the north Spokane Property Depot, which endured destruction believed to price tag hundreds of thousands of bucks.

Customers and workforce securely evacuated the dwelling advancement store, which remained closed Friday as crews labored to cleanse up the aftermath.

Firefighters were known as to the retail store at 9116 N. Newport Hwy. at about 9:25 p.m., and the first fireplace enterprise arrived in 3 minutes, Spokane Fire Main Brian Schaeffer claimed.

He mentioned arriving crews discovered smoke as workforce frantically exited. Flames ended up seen in aisle 2, which is in the household and yard spot.
