Benarcik and his spouse share an acre of residential gardens in Wilmington, Delaware. He lectures internationally, but he teaches and volunteers in his cost-free time. He is component of the continuing instruction software at Longwood Gardens. He volunteers for the Delaware Centre for Horticulture’s Uncommon Plant Auction, as part of the plant variety committee and as a plant professional at the party. He also judges for the Philadelphia Flower Exhibit.
