Cleveland County Arts Council’s 2022 Garden and Outdoor Living Tour will be held Saturday, June 4.

Artwork in its outdoor, natural type will be on exhibit for the Cleveland County Arts Council’s 2022 Backyard garden and Outside Residing Tour.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 4.

The self-guided tour will contain 7 outside dwelling spaces and outside “artistry.”

The places on the tour involve:

Pine Hall, Andrea Potts

224 Fairway Generate, Shelby

Andrea and Patrick Potts purchased Pine Corridor in June 2016.

Earl and Montrose Mechum designed Pine Hall in 1973. Many of the home’s characteristics had been salvaged from historical households across North Carolina, which includes the log cabin now named the Like Shack in honor of the 2nd stewards, Frank and Virginia Like.

The gardens at Pine Corridor are of a regular southern backyard garden with hundreds of plant varieties, such as boxwood, hydrangeas, rhododendrons, gardenia, laurels, azaleas, roses, foxgloves, hollyhocks, irises, hostas and much more. The gardens at Pine Hall are devoted to the memory of Patrick Potts, who, with his spouse, had the eyesight to restore this property and gardens.
