Cozey, a Canadian company that makes affordable, comfortable, modern and modular furniture, is expanding its product offering and I’m very excited.

Cozey not so subtly entered the market in 2020. I remember seeing their ads all over social media and the Toronto subway system. I reached out to the Cozey team to test out a sofa, the only product available at the time. I love the sofa. It’s a basic, neutral, comfortable sofa that’s easy to assemble (read the original review).

Couches

Now Cozey offers new sofa designs and living room accessories like tables, a media unit and pillows. I’m most excited about the newest sofa, the sleeker Ciello.

The Ciello looks like an elevated version of the Original collection; a physically lower design. The Original design is a super comfy couch as well and starts at $1,095 for a three-seater. The Ciello starts at $1,660 for the same arrangement, but looks more sophisticated and is made from luxurious materials like ethically-sourced duck feathers.

Tables

The Stella Coffee Table is in Cozey fashion, modular, so you can select the configuration that best fits your space. It also works as a pseudo desk or dining table. I eat at least one meal a day at my coffee table while sitting on the floor. And sometimes, when I’m sick of a chair and a desk I work on my sofa with my laptop on my lap. Stella solves both of those issues.

Stella Media Unit

The media unit is of course modular and multifunctional. It’s a sleek piece of furniture, a TV unit and has so much storage. Both the table and media unit are only offered in one colour, oak. It’s a nice earthy tone but we predict the colour options may expand in the future.

The company also offers throws, pillows and side tables

We love seeing Cozey expand because it’s a successful Canadian startup and it has reignited the modular furniture market in Canada. We’re seeing other Canadian companies offer modular sofas, like Transformer Table, Sundays and Noa.

How a flower from Mexico became a symbol of Christmas

A single of my most precious belongings is a spherical, painted ceramic cookie tray in the shape of a poinsettia that was given to me by my mom. Every single Christmas, this vivid crimson tray with a yellow blossom in the center has held the sweet holiday treats and candies […]
