Persona 5 Royal is a game with quite a lot going on – you have the main plot of the game, gear upgrades, social stats, a wide cast of Confidants, earning money, and not to mention keeping up appearances as a Japanese school student. But there’s one other thing you’re able to work on collecting, too – bedroom decorations.
P5R’s decorations are much the same as vanilla P5’s, with some extra additions from your brand-new Confidants. Some are easy to get, while others have rather specific requirements. Below is our guide for how to get all of Persona 5 Royal’s decorations for Joker’s bedroom.
Updated on March 26, 2023 by Gabrielle Castania: Ever since Persona 5 Royal released for all current-gen consoles in October 2022, the game has only become increasingly popular. Because of this, we wanted to dive back into some of our older P5R guides to give them a little polish – Joker’s bedroom is well-organized, and our guide on where to find all the decorations in Persona 5 Royal ought to be as well. Enjoy your stylish room!
Shelf Decorations
P5R’s shelf items are some of its most iconic, as they’re primarily tied to optional scenes that see you enjoying some free time with your confidants. There are nine shelf items altogether.
Several things on Persona 5’s shelf can only be unlocked on certain dates or when you trigger the scene in certain weather conditions. We’ve made note of any specifics for your shelf items in the table below.
While you can choose which items are on display on your shelf in P5R, you cannot choose where they go.

Desk Decorations
Only one of P5R’s desk decorations come from spending time with a confidant – the rest, you’ll need to win from the Crane Game that you can find at the Akihabara Arcade. You can begin winning these as early as September.
Each try at the game will run you 300, but be prepared to try several times. This is a luck-based system, but you can give yourself a leg up by either playing on a date that ends in 7, or by having equipped a Persona with a high luck stat.
