In Photos: Spoon makes its Greenfield Lake Amphitheater debut

WILMINGTON — It took 10 albums over an nearly a few-10 years occupation for Austin, Texas, indie rockers Spoon to ultimately make its way to Wilmington’s Greenfield Lake Amphitheater on Apr. 28.

“How have we never been listed here in advance of?” the band questioned the promoter of the 1,000-seat amphitheater again stage.

The track appears on Spoon’s most current album, “Lucifer On The Sofa” (Matador Information), introduced in February. The first single from the album, “Wild,” also manufactured its way to established. American singer-songwriter Margaret Glaspy was intended to open the demonstrate, but a past-minute improve welcomed artist Nicole Atkins to the phase in its place.
